Resale Terms

7AM Ticket Resale

1. Selling Tickets on 7AM

These terms apply when you resell tickets through the 7AM platform. By listing a ticket for resale, you agree to these terms.

2. How Resale Works

  • You can only resell valid tickets originally purchased through 7AM
  • Tickets are automatically verified when listed
  • Upon successful sale, the ticket is transferred to the buyer's account
  • The original ticket in your account becomes invalid
  • You cannot cancel a sale once completed

Listing Types

  • Public Listing: Your ticket appears in the marketplace for anyone to purchase
  • Private Listing: You receive a unique link to share with your chosen buyer
  • Available listing types depend on event organizer settings
  • Some events may restrict or completely disable resale

3. Requirements to Sell

To sell tickets you must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Complete identity verification through Stripe
  • Have legitimate ownership of the tickets
  • Have the right to sell in your location

4. Fees and Payment

Service Fees

  • Platform and processing fees apply as displayed during listing
  • All fees are shown transparently before you confirm your listing
  • Fees are automatically deducted from your payout

Getting Paid

  • Payments and payouts are handled by Stripe
  • You must complete Stripe's verification and accept their terms
  • Payout schedules and requirements are determined by Stripe

5. Pricing Your Tickets

  • You set your own resale price
  • Price caps may apply (set by organizers or 7AM for market fairness and platform safety)
  • List prices in the currency of the original purchase
  • The total price shown to buyers includes your listing price plus any applicable fees

6. Tax Considerations

You are solely responsible for:

  • Understanding if your sales are taxable in your jurisdiction
  • Reporting any income from ticket sales if required
  • Paying any applicable taxes
  • Maintaining records of your transactions

Note: Private occasional sales may not be taxable in many jurisdictions, but rules vary. 7AM does not provide tax advice. Consult local regulations or a tax professional if unsure.

7. Prohibited Activities

You must NOT:

  • List tickets you don't own
  • Create fake or duplicate listings
  • Use bots or automated systems
  • Manipulate prices through coordinated activity
  • Sell as a business without proper registration
  • Violate any laws regarding ticket resale in your jurisdiction

8. After Your Sale

Once your ticket is sold and transferred:

  • The buyer becomes the new ticket holder
  • Any event changes or cancellations are between the buyer and organizer
  • You have no further obligations regarding the ticket
  • The sale is final and cannot be reversed (except in fraud cases)

9. Account Suspension

We may suspend your selling privileges if you:

  • Violate these terms
  • Fail Stripe's verification requirements
  • Have excessive disputes or complaints
  • Engage in suspicious activity
  • Attempt to sell invalid tickets

10. Fraud Prevention and Fund Holds

To protect buyers and maintain platform integrity:

  • We may hold payouts until after the event takes place (standard or extended holds)
  • This applies to all sales or specific cases based on risk assessment
  • Suspicious activity may result in immediate fund holds
  • We reserve the right to reverse transactions involving fraudulent tickets
  • Funds may be held pending investigation of unusual selling patterns
  • In cases of confirmed fraud, funds may be returned to buyers
  • Hold periods are implemented through our payment processor (Stripe)

11. Liability Limitations

  • 7AM is only the platform facilitator
  • We're not party to the sale between you and the buyer
  • We're not responsible for tax consequences of your sales
  • We don't guarantee your tickets will sell
  • Our liability is limited to fees we actually collected from your transaction

12. Platform Rights

7AM reserves the right to:

  • Remove listings that violate these terms
  • Set limits on number of listings
  • Require additional verification for high-volume sellers
  • Report suspicious activity to relevant authorities

13. Data and Privacy

  • Your profile information is visible to potential buyers
  • Transaction data is retained per legal requirements
  • We share necessary information with Stripe for payment processing

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified when you next list tickets for sale. Continued use of the resale feature constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Language

These terms are provided in English. Any translations are for convenience only. In case of conflicts, the English version prevails.

16. Acceptance

By clicking "List for Sale" you confirm that:

  • You've read and accept these terms
  • You own the tickets you're selling
  • You understand your tax obligations
  • You're authorized to use the payment method
