For 20 years, Martin Gretschmann, aka Acid Pauli, has been smashing musical boundaries with his psychedelic, mind-bending sets. Blending techno, house, and an eclectic mix of genres beyond dance music, his performances are a force to be reckoned with. Born in the 70s in Bavaria, Germany, Martin started his musical journey as a punk/indie bassist in the late 80s. As the electronic scene exploded, he dove into electronic production, dropping his first tracks as Console in 1995.
By 1996, he unleashed 'Pan or ama', crafted with an Atari, a four-track recorder, a sampler, and a synth. Joining The Notwist, he electrified their sound until 2015. Console evolved into a live band, and after extensive touring, releasing records and remixes, and hosting radio shows with Andreas Ammer, Martin launched his solo venture as Acid Pauli.
Acid Pauli began as a computer-based live act and morphed into a hybrid live/DJ performance that dominates dance floors with a wild mix of techno, house, and countless other genres. Always experimenting, his unique evolution shines in the acclaimed Get Lost mix series by Crosstown Rebels and the "Countdown to Zero" DJ mix with Damian Lazarus.
