For over 30 years, Sam Paganini’s been flipping the techno script. From underground clubs to global stages, his sound is everywhere you want to be. From his early days in 1996 to his global performances that leave crowds breathless, Sam has created a sound that’s as dark, gritty, and irresistible as the underground clubs he plays in. This is the story of an artist who has never followed the rules and has never needed to.
Paganini's journey didn't start in some high-rise studio or fancy music school. it began in 1996 with the explosive success of his track "Zoe," released under the alias Paganini Traxx. It was raw, unfiltered, and unapologetic, just like him. But the real game-changer came in 2011 when techno legend Richie Hawtin brought Paganini into the Plus8 fold. The Cobra EP was released, and just like that, Sam was no longer just an artist; he was a trendsetter.
Paganini doesn’t do mainstream. He doesn’t play it safe. And Rave? Well, it’s the perfect example of that. Released in 2014 as part of Satellite, the track owned the charts. Staying at the top of Beatport’s Techno Chart for over two months and racking up over 30 million views on YouTube, "Rave" became the most-watched techno track ever.

Released on Drumcode, Satellite was a high-octane journey combining aggressive techno with smooth, atmospheric melodies. "Rave" became an anthem, dominating the charts and cementing his place in the scene.
With Zenith, Paganini brought brutal rhythms and deep textures on his own label, JAM. Tracks like "Zenith" and "Elevator" hit hard and shook up the techno genre like only he could.
In Reflections, Paganini went deeper with a raw, melodic, and ambient sound. It’s a personal journey, with tracks like "Reflections" and "Shadows" taking listeners to new emotional heights.
Light + Shadow split into two sides: "Light" pulses with high-energy techno, while "Shadow" dives into darker, atmospheric vibes. It’s the ultimate blend of Paganini’s versatility and mastery.
This live recording captures the raw energy of Paganini’s performance in Istanbul. Tracks like "Exit" and "Fire In My Arms" explode with energy, bringing his electrifying live sets straight to your speakers.
In 2016, Paganini created his own path. JAM (Join Art Music) was born, a label for his vision of techno and a platform for new, hungry talent. At first, JAM was all about Paganini, with hits like "Desire/Mercury" and "Skin/Candy." But over time, it evolved, bringing artists like Alex Lentini, Devid Dega, and Frank Biazzi into the fold.
With JAM, Paganini’s influence is spreading, and the underground is ready for the next wave
Sam isn’t slowing down. In February 2025, he dropped the Rave (Speed Up 2025 Mix), a new version of his iconic track that’s ready to tear up dancefloors once again. He's still as hungry as ever – and his upcoming shows prove it!
He’s taken the stage at some of the world’s most iconic venues and festivals—Berghain, Fabric, Amnesia, Tomorrowland, Ultra, Sziget, and more. Each time, he leaves his mark and proves there’s no place too big for his sound.
Catch him next at these dates:
Sam Paganini is setting the stage for what's next. His Jam Night concept parties aren’t your typical club nights. They’re a platform for his label JAM, bringing together the best in underground techno. Whether it’s at Fabric in London or T7 in Paris, Jam Night is a celebration of the raw, unapologetic sound of techno that Sam represents.
Paganini’s influence goes way beyond his music. He’s the only Italian artist to drop tracks on legends like Plus8, Cocoon, and Drumcode, and his sound has rewired the genre. His legacy is locked in, and as long as he’s on the decks, that mark’s only getting bigger!
